Jay Fowler

Jay Fowler, AICP, is a bicycle commuter and enjoys bicycle touring, camping, hiking, and kayaking. He served as Executive Director of the City of Grand Rapids Downtown Development Authority from 2003 to 2012. Previously, he was urban planner and Assistant Planning Director for Grand Rapids for 20 years. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners & the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals. He was Captain of Team GGRBC during Climate Ride Midwest in September, 2014. Jay previously served as a member of the GGRBC Advocacy Committee and board of directors, and has served as secretary of the board.

Calli Crow, Development Coordinator

Calli comes to GGRBC with experience in nonprofit and retail management, event planning, and volunteer coordination. She enjoys cycling as transportation and values having Room to Ride. She has passion for her family, community, and the health of the environment.  Calli believes in the mission of GGRBC and is motivated to energetically pursue new avenues to making Metro GR more bikeable and walkable for the health of the city, Grand Rapidians and future generations. Originally from Southern Illinois, Calli has enourmous appreciation for Lake Michigan and the beauty of West Michigan. She feels happy and blessed to be part of such a vibrant community that keeps on getting better!
